Hardware and Network Club

The club validates technical competency in network & hardware. The objective of the club is to empower its members to demonstrate critical knowledge of media and topologies, protocols and standards, network & hardware implementation and support and also train them for a network & hardware certifications.

Multimedia and Web Design Club

The fields of web design and multimedia are constantly evolving, and it is essential to keep abreast of emerging new media technology. This club is designed for people who wish to gain the knowledge and skills to build or maintain a basic website or create a complex multimedia presentation. The resources includes web-related studies and and classes for Web design and development, graphics design training, multimedia, Web graphics and related areas.Web design and multimedia training can prepare students to develop, design and maintain websites, as well as how to integrate different electronic media into one presentation. Web development and design is a fast growing field of opportunity and there are a number of positions in high demand.

Open Source Club

The aim of the open source club is familiarize its members regarding free software concepts. It means conducting training classes, interactive workshops to make them aware about free software. The Club focuses on building a strong community of open source users and developers for experimenting with new business world and strategies. The open source club meets every Wednesday.

Cyber Security Club

The need of the hour is to set priority for a secure and safe electronic environment. The main objective of this club is to enable the students to protect information and property from theft, corruption and other such sort of malicious intentions. The main aim is to train them how to safeguard one’s computer from latest online threats and offer ways to respond to potential cyber-crime incidents.

Blogging Club

A small spark can trigger a mighty explosion. A small idea can turn things around in a very big way. This was the ideology behind the creation of “amaljyothibeats”, the official campus blog of Amaljyothi College of engineering. The sudden growth of the campus blog prompted the students and the faculties to start the blogging club. To spread the culture of blogging and e-writing, that is the main aim of this wonderful new club.

With more than 60 members from various years, the club runs successfully and it provides ample opportunities for those who think different and stand apart from the rest. Sky is the limit for its members and this is evident from the various activities organized by them. Sessions and seminars regarding personal blogging, campus blogging, short film making, cartoons etc are being done along with giving the members enough opportunities to develop their interviewing skills.
