Civil Engineering Association
The Civil Engineering Association of AJCE, co-ordinates the non-academic functions within the department. Presided over by elected student representatives, the association plays a major role in organizing extra-curricular activities. The Association publishes an in-house magazine, and has conducted exhibitions, seminars and workshops on current and trending topics. Industrial Visits to various parts of Kerala, Survey Hunt and CAD Debug are among the functions conducted by the Association.
Computer Science Association
Computer Science Association consists of all faculty members in the department as well as all students of 2nd, 3rd andt 4th years of Computer Science and Engineering.
Association encourages students to prove their worth through their yearly technical and cultural festival named ‘ASTHRA’, a programme that inculcates and brings up everyone’s high spirits. It is a program that truly proves the unity amongst the whole computer science department.
The first ASTHRA was conducted in 2006 and the second one in 2007. Both were undisputed favourites amongst all the department programmes in the college.
Electronics Engineering Association
Electronics Engineering Association was found on 16th July 2003.The main of the club is to learn and know beyond the curriculum. In pursuit of this aim, we have planned numerous activities as part of our association. These include Industrial Visits, Industrial Trainings, Group Discursions, and Seminars by eminent personalities from the various industries/fields, debates & quiz, preparation for campus interviews, to motivate and to encourage students to participate in various technical and cultural events.
Electrical Engineers Association
The Electrical and Electronic Engineers Association of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering started functioning in the academic year 2003. The main of the club is to learn and know beyond the curriculum. For this, we have planned numerous activities as part of our association. Information Technology Association
Constituted in the year 2005, Information Technology Association is an association of the students and staff of Department of Information Technology. A member of the faculty acts as the advisor for the Association. The IT Association aims to promote synergy among the students by promoting interactions and exchange of ideas. IT Association will also be involved in organizing and coordinating events of interest to its members and others. Events include seminars, distinguished lectures, contests, workshops etc.
Mechanical Engineering Association
Association of Mechanical Engineering (AME) is a professional engineering Association whose membership represents every engineering student from the mechanical engineering discipline. The purpose of this association is to provide its members opportunities to gain broader insight into the engineering profession by sponsoring meeting that will bring practicing engineers to the campus arranging field trips to research and engineering establishments, participating in local activities. This association is run by the students and for the students to achieve the above objectives, the faculty advisors are appointed by the department to advice students regarding the various activities conducted by AME. This helps students to learn the managerial skills also. The students are hopefully looking forward to conduct exhibitions every year. Today, AME with its highly dedicated executive committee under the able guidance of faculty advisor and HOD is committed to achieve its goals. Due to AME, things are going only bigger and better!!

- Giving relevant information to students to sustain their interest in their field-specific applications of ME.
- Providing students of the department with relevant knowledge of other fields, given the inter-disciplinary nature of ME.
- Interacting with other technical societies, within and outside the institute to promote flow of knowledge and interest.
- Providing a platform for interaction between faculty and the students and especially the seniors and the juniors of the department.
- To promote the interaction between academia and industry.
- To encourage novel ideas by means of special projects.
