Every Hour Counts.
Make It Yours.
Here's your daily rhythm at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering Autonomous — one-hour classes, well-timed breaks, and a free hour for your own initiatives. Know the flow, arrive ready, and make the most of every class day together.
One hour per class, all day through
Seven periods of one hour each, threaded with a short break and lunch — the same steady rhythm on every working day.
How the morning begins
Bell Timings
Small habits, smoother days
None of these are hard — together they keep our classrooms calm, focused and enjoyable for everyone.
One-Hour Classes
Each class runs for exactly one hour, just as shown in the schedule — predictable and easy to plan around.
Classes Start at 8.45 AM
Our day begins at 8.45 AM sharp. Attendance is marked first, then the morning prayer follows with the bell at 8.50 AM.
Be In Class Before the Prayer Bell
Attendance wraps up before the prayer, so please reach your class before 8.45 AM. When the prayer bell rings at 8.50, all stand together.
Your Breaks
A short break from 10.45 – 11.00 AM, and a relaxed lunch break from 1.00 – 2.00 PM to eat and recharge.
4–5 PM Is Your Hour
The 4.00 – 5.00 PM hour is usually free for Students' Council Activities — unless a lab or workshop truly can't be scheduled elsewhere.
Keep Your Phone in the Box
During class, leave your mobile in the box provided or at the faculty table. A small step that helps you concentrate better and stay distraction-free.
Phones Only at Break
Mobile phones aren't used during class hours unless the faculty permits it for that hour. You're welcome to use them freely during the break.
Let's make every class day count
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we work together to maintain a disciplined, happy, and academically focused learning environment. Thank you for your support — here's to a great day, every day.
