Shaping Careers — Guiding Youth at Every Stage
The Career Guidance Cell at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering offers structured programmes for school and college students, teachers, and parents — equipping them with clarity on career paths, competitive examinations, and opportunities in higher education through mentorship and expert counselling.
Amal Jyothi College of Engineering organises a Career Mentorship Training Programme for all High School and Higher Secondary School teachers. All Principals and teachers are welcome to participate.
Pathfinder is a comprehensive one-day Career Guidance and Counselling programme held under the joint auspices of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, ISTE, and the National Institute for Development of Youth (NIDY) at the College campus.
- Professional Courses and Science Stream — with emphasis on competitions including IES, GATE, GRE, and other engineering entrance exams
- Commerce and Humanities Streams — with emphasis on Banking, Insurance, Law, Management, Economics, Communications, Social Service, and Civil Services
- Joint Session for All Students — held in the afternoon, followed by individual counselling for students, parents, and teachers
Pathfinder is an ongoing career guidance programme for youth — graduates, HS/HSS students — focused on career orientation through comprehensive information about courses and career paths. At the end of each programme, students leave with a clear picture of the courses and careers most suited to their individual personality, aptitude, and potential.
