NDLI Club — Amal Jyothi College of Engineering
A National Digital Library of India club for learning-oriented events, connecting students to a world of digital resources — books, videos, articles, thesis, and more — curated by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
The National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India through the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT). It is not just a repository — it provides a full suite of services for the learner community.
NDLI stores metadata about books, articles, videos, audios, thesis, and other educational materials spanning all educational levels, languages, and capabilities. It provides a single-window search facility with mobile app support on Android and iOS.
NDLI Club is a platform for conducting learning-oriented events — both online and offline — for students of an institute, using content from NDLI and external sources, with experts delivering talks and conducting sessions.
Clubs can organise local events as well as multi-institute collaborative events, and all participants receive certificates issued by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India & IIT Kharagpur.
Amal Jyothi College of Engineering enrolled as an NDLI Club member on 25 March 2021. The Virtual Inauguration and launch was conducted on 30 June 2021 by Dr. Z V Lakaparambil, Principal.
The club conducts events and programmes frequently, with certificates issued jointly by the MoE, Govt. of India and IIT Kharagpur.
